LucoTec air suspension system
Our sister company Steinhaus GmbH offers a complete system called LuCoTec, which extends the service life of your screening machine.
Of course, our machines can be perfectly combined with each other and offer the optimum solution as a package.
Motor and drive consoles are made of sectional steel and are designed with a base plate for attachment to the platform or the support layer. By accommodating the three-phase motor, primary reduction gear, V-belt drive and protective covers, they form a compact unit that meets safety-related requirements.
With displacement construction and consisting of collecting pipe, distributor pipes per deck and with one shut-off valve and fan nozzles each in staggered arrangement as well as the necessary spray water seals.
A SIEBTECHNIK TEMA double unbalance gearbox provides the necessary working torque for the desired vibration amplitude of the screening machine. It can be adjusted in stages via the number and shape of the unbalances and can be operated over a speed range agreed with us.
Counter-swinging frames are a well-known alternative to optimized vibration isolation. Extensive vibration isolation can also be achieved with this system. We also offer this variant, which is manufactured from sheet and sectional steel, as an air suspension variant. It is designed to accommodate the screening machine and is mounted on rubber springs and shock absorbers.
The hybrid suspension consisting of spiral compression springs and rubber buffers offers good vibration isolation with safety against the springs going “on block”.
As an option, SIEBTECHNIK TEMA offers air suspension instead of the usual vibration isolation using helical compression springs. This consists of air bellows including base and adapter plates. Passive buffers ensure safe displacement during maintenance or when the machine is at a standstill for longer periods. Control systems and a compressor are supplied in an aluminum protective box for individual parameter setting and monitoring. A tubing kit provides the necessary air supply to the air bellows at the spring points.
The dust hood is only installed above the screening machine. It consists of roof-shaped segments from which rubber curtains usually protrude into the screen box. This type of dust seal is simpler in design than the dust protection, but – especially in combination with a dust extraction system – also offers a significant reduction in the amount of dust escaping from the screening machine.
By dust protection, we mean an enclosure for the entire screening machine. The aim is to prevent dust from escaping as far as possible. The screening machine is either mounted on a frame which also supports the dust protection made of steel segments or the dust protection is designed to be so robust at the spring points that it supports the screening machine. Access to the screening machine is provided by doors on the feed and discharge side. The non-swinging underflow collecting hopper can be bolted to the base frame of the dust guard and thus also offers excellent protection against escaping dust.
All cross beams are partially rubberized, whereby the surfaces that come into contact with the screened material are protected, for example, with 4 mm or 8 mm thick wear protection rubber.
Increased wear protection is optionally achieved if the grooves of the cross members are foamed to prevent material accumulation and protected with 4 mm wear protection rubber. The rear walls are often protected with 8 mm thick wear protection rubber.
Alternative variants made of wear-resistant steel, ceramic or polyurethane are also available.

STEINHAUS steel sieve trays standard design and self-cleaning
Exciter driven screening machines & vibrating motor driven equipment, which includes screening machines, grizzly feeders, tube feeders and other specialty equipment for mineral processing.
As a leading provider of technology solutions to the global minerals processing industry, Multotec offers a comprehensive range of screening media. These range from wedge wire screens and centrifuge baskets to fully optimized composite screen decks.
Multotec designs, builds, manufactures, installs and maintains equipment throughout the entire value chain of mineral processing plants across all commodity sectors, from diamonds to coal, gold, iron ore, platinum and phosphates.
STEINHAUS screen panels are available in many different variations. They are used to separate solid mineral raw materials such as sand and gravel, hard rock, coal and ores, chemical products, foodstuffs and many other substances - in screening machines, centrifuges and filters.
The elliptical vibrating screen combines the advantages of linear and circular vibrating screens with space-saving horizontal installation and high material throughput.
Our linear motion screening machine is used for screening and dewatering granular bulk materials. Even extreme requirements, high temperatures and low residual moisture can be realized with these machines.
Our banana screening machine is used for screening granular bulk materials. It achieves good separation efficiency at extremely high feed rates and with difficult-to-screen material and is a high-speed screen in terms of its operating behavior.
