Turbidity sampler
Taking turbidity samples across the entire chute cross-section from vertical, pressure-free pipes.
With the Downpipe / slurry sampler type FPN / TPN, representative sampling is carried out using a sample chute that is guided in a circular motion through the material flow at a constant speed. While the sample chute is rotated through the material flow, a partial flow is continuously separated and guided to the outside. The sample material obtained in this way can be collected via a pipe socket and processed further. The waiting position of the sample chute between two removals is inside the material chamber, but outside the main product flow, so that permanent contact between the sample chute and the material flow is excluded, also with regard to wear and tear
The sample chute can be driven either by a geared motor or a pneumatic cylinder.
The distinction between downpipe and turbidity samplers is based on the material flow to be sampled. For dry or moist bulk materials, we use the Downpipe / slurry sampler type FPN / TPN with a steep sample chute to avoid build-up. For turbid or suspended materials, the sample chute can be made shallower, which reduces the installation height and thus offers more scope for installation.

This spoon sampler is used for sampling sludge at the free pipe, channel or sump outlet.
