Ammonium Sulfate
Ammonium sulfate is mainly used as a nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture. There are also many other niche applications, such as food additives and drinking water treatment.
The SIEBTECHNIK multi-deck screening machine is used as a control or classifying screen for free-flowing, dry or granular bulk materials. Thanks to its compact design, we achieve a long, low-maintenance service life.

Operating behavior & mechanical features
The MHR multi-deck screening machine is a screening machine with a linear throwing motion and 2 to 19 separating surfaces for the sharp separation of dry bulk materials. Depending on the application, throughput rates of 50 kg/h to 50 t/h are possible with separating cuts of 32 μm to 8 mm.
The micro-throwing motion of the screened material is generated
by two unbalanced motors at a steep throwing angle. As a result, the material is transported across the screening surface on all decks at the same low speed.
Six sizes from 0.35 m¬ to 5.6 m¬ per screening deck are realized according to a modular principle.
Up to 19 decks can be stacked on top of each other and combined to form several screening units. The maximum screening area is around 100 m. There are 8 handy special frames per deck, which can be changed quickly. Special food-safe beaters in the screen frames ensure a free screen mesh.
This screen was originally developed for the abrasives industry. In the meantime, a large number of applications have emerged, e.g. abrasives, quartz sand, glass beads, sugar, salts, metal powder, rubber powder, cable scrap, fertilizer, SAP, etc.
The MHR sieve is ideal whenever dry material needs to be classified into several fractions with a high degree of selectivity.

Our multi-deck screening machines are available in two versions:
Multi-deck Screening machine MDS
For the pre-separation, enrichment and classification of difficult-to-screen mineral bulk materials. We also recommend our Multi-deck Screening machines with up to 5 screen decks on top of each other for relatively high boundary grain content and critical water content. The predominantly monogranular screening, due to the very steep screen deck inclination, especially in the lower area, allows high specific screening capacities and good classifying accuracy even with small screen openings.
Multi-deck Screening machine MHR
The MHR sieve is the ideal solution whenever dry material needs to be classified into several fractions with a high degree of selectivity. The high number of almost vertical throws, the relief of the decks and the large screening surface enable finished products in test sieve quality.
The test screening machine with a size of 500 x 1400 mm with up to 7 decks is available at the screening technology center in Mülheim a.d. Ruhr or as a rental screen for customer trials.
