STEINHAUS polyurethane screens have been the epitome of reliability and durability for many years. In 1968, STEINHAUS GmbH introduced the first industrially produced polyurethane screens to the public. This was followed in 1976 by another world first, the first modular screen panel. In 2022, STEINHAUS set new standards in the field of magnetic system screens with the self-centering MLock system.
A wide range of options
STEINHAUS screen panels are available in a variety of types. In addition to polyurethane screens, we also offer screens made of wear and corrosion resistant steels and steel-reinforced polyurethane.
They are used to separate solid mineral raw materials such as sand and gravel, hard rock, coal and ores, chemical products, food and many other substances – in screening machines, centrifuges and filters.
A variety of accessories, wear-resistant liners, and fan spray nozzles complete the range of screen panels.
The requirements for a screen panel vary greatly depending on the application. Therefore, we offer the optimum screen for every application, often combining different series on a single screening machine.

UNI 2000 Modular Screens
UNI 2000 system screen decks made of highly wear-resistant polyurethane are standardized modules with component dimensions of 100 – 400 mm width and lengths up to 1000 mm.
Their design makes them our all-rounder. Larger open screen area & optimal side fastening. Here are some of the advantages and options:
- Mounting is easy with our proven tongue and groove system. With very little effort, the screens can be inserted into the adapter strips to prevent them from vibrating.
- The screen panel can be installed and removed without disassembling the side bar.
- Screened material cannot pass over the front end and damage the screen.
- Side wear bars can be provided with drainage holes.
- Because of the UNI 2000’s much narrower blind zone, this system offers a much larger open area than any other commercially available modular screen using standard side bars. As a result, offsetting of components is largely eliminated.

KOMBIPLAST® modular screens
KOMBIPLAST® has been our proven system screen panel since 1976. It is attached to the screening machine by means of an expansion anchor system without an adapter strip. The steel industry in particular, which uses highly wear-resistant plates up to 15 mm thick, relies on this system, which has been tried and tested for more than 40 years.

Polyurethane Plain Screens
Polyurethane Plain Screens are bolted or wedged to the screening machine to eliminate vibration. We manufacture Plain Screens in all grades of hardness, frame sizes and hole shapes to fit any screening machine. Plain screens are often used for dewatering screening machines or in very heavy duty applications. It is often very easy to replace wire screens or slotted wedge wire screens with Polyurethane Plain Screens.
