Semi-mobile pulsator jig
Our Semi-mobile pulsator jig is always the perfect solution if you want to avoid long transportation routes or if the time limit on the amount of material makes the construction of a plant uneconomical.
Density sorting is an essential component in the processing of minerals and in recycling. When sorting by density (especially for materials with a small difference in density), a simple countercurrent rinsing process is usually not sufficient for effective separation. Instead, a vertically pulsating flow through the settling bed is required.
The eccentric drive causes the water-filled upper box to vibrate harmoniously. The water pulsates to the rhythm of the vibrations and performs the lifting work required for sorting.
The feed material moves towards the outlet due to the inclination of the setting floor, the lifting work and the flow of the top water. At the same time, the lift causes the material to be stratified according to density.
At the end of the settling material carrier, the floating or light material on top (charred wood, shells, dead rock, etc.) is discharged to the side or front via a channel at right angles to the transport direction. The sinking material (quartz, gravel, etc.) is discharged to the front via the height-controlled weir or other discharge unit.
The separated goods are dewatered on suitable equipment, e.g. vibrating chutes.
Essentially, the SIEBTECHNIK TEMA oscillating Pulsator Jig consists of a base frame made of sectional steel, on which the upper box with the laterally wedged, easily replaceable steel-reinforced PU setting tray is mounted. The upper box is flexibly connected to the vibrating lower box via expansion joints.
The lower box is connected via connecting rods to the eccentric drive below, which is adjustable in terms of lifting height and lifting frequency.
The collection containers, which are arranged underneath the lower box, discharge the contents of the drum.
The light material discharge and the height-controlled weir for discharging the coarse sinking material are located above the upper box.
This passive discharge unit is advantageous in terms of wear, as there is no permanent movement in the abrasive material.
The weir is controlled electrically via an automatically operating float scanning device.
Extensive accessories for Screening Machines are available for all SIEBTECHNIK TEMA Pulsator Jigs. Whether wear protection, screen linings, suspension, drive or control technology – decades of experience enable us to achieve the best result for your task.
It goes without saying that our machines can be perfectly combined with each other and offer the optimum solution as a package.
After a fire in the largest European quarry, SIEBTECHNIK TEMA and its Norwegian partner ROXEL were involved in the reconstruction of the plant.
We say "thank you" for this award from the Stifterverband! The Stifterverband is one of the largest private science sponsors in Germany.
