The APS Unpacking Station offers many benefits to optimize your additive manufacturing workflow. Uniform light distribution and ionized laminated glass provide a clear view of the parts being unpacked. The electrically height-adjustable work surface allows for ergonomic adjustments, and the build platform allows hands-free lifting using a foot switch, leaving both hands in the working area.
The entire work area is constructed of high quality stainless steel and features a large work surface for handling parts. An integrated screening machine with upstream part separation ensures efficient processing, while two separate stainless steel containers are provided to collect used and waste powder. Built-in scales allow accurate recording of powder quantities after each unpacking operation.
The flow-optimized exhaust system reduces dust exposure to employees and the environment. A switchable cleaning nozzle and compressed air connections are available for pre-cleaning parts. The APS is operated via an intuitive touch-screen display for easy and user-friendly control. An FDA-compliant version is also available.
